The appeals window for Osaka Masters Invites has passed.

The Qualifications Criteria is as follows:

    The winner and finalist team of the previous team-format Pro Tour
    The winner of the previous team-format Masters Series
    The Top 4 DCI (three-person) Team Limited-ranked teams who were previously uninvited, as of the January 30, 2002 ratings publish.
    The Gateway tournament-winning team

The Following Teams were invited because of previous finishes:

    Phoenix Foundation: Kai Budde, Marco Blume, and Dirk Baberowski
    Les Plus Class: Nicolas Oliveri, Gabriel Nassif, Amiel Tenenbaum
    Panzer Hunter: Itaru Ishida, Kazuyuki Momose, Reiji Andou.

Panzer Hunter replaced AlphaBetaUnlimited.com because of the suspension of Ryan Fuller.

The Following Teams are invited based on DCI Rating:
